End of life productOrbit Classic (CX21) is a legacy product not recommended for new projects. It is no longer supported, but continues to be manufactured for the purpose of servicing or expanding existing installations. A recommended replacement is the new X1 reader.

Orbit Classic offers secure wireless communication with smart cards, fobs and wristbands. It is compliant with a host of popular smart card standards in use today through 13.56 MHz NFC technology.
The reader supports the proprietary G2K API, which introduces significant flexibility for custom development. It grants complete control over the reader and allows for development of comprehensive solutions. Gemini 2000 offers extensive documentation and engineering support to clients implementing the reader for custom projects.
The high impact plastic casing design is contemporary and minimalist, and features a large card landing zone for enhanced ease of use. The reader’s over-sized built-in antenna offers extended card reading range.
