CUSTOM FIRMWARE

Gemini 2000s device firmware fully covers all the required ISO standards but if necessary custom API commands can be added. If something, not part of the standard package is required, system firmware uploads allow the device to be upgraded in the field, when functionality is critical. This can be done by a custom command that communicates with a custom applet of JCOP 30 card over the contactless interface. We have developed several commands of this type for various OEM customers. Therefore, no deep knowledge of smart card technology is required from the manufacturers and integration time is minimal. Please call or e-mail if interested or for more information.

CUSTOM HARDWARE

The GemTAG reader and writer range is optimized for desktop applications, where the application is running on a host PC. For standalone devices, many features are essential, like an extended power range, feedback indicators etc. We have developed a range of standalone devices, for various specific application requirements and are happy to discuss future projects.

Our standard standalone reader and writer with Ethernet port can be used for premises access control, bus ticketing and other applications where LAN is available. The device comprises of a TCP/IP stack, WEB server, FTP server, Telnet console as well as custom UDP command support. Please contact us for more information.
